Dementia 13 (1963) is a horror/thriller written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola, produced by Roger Corman, starring William Campbell and Luana Anders. After John Haloran (Peter Read) dies, his wife, Louise (Anders), fears that she will be denied his inheritance. Louise schemes to convince Lady Haloran (Eithne Dunne) that she can speak with the dead child. However, this plan is interrupted by an axe murderer loose on the estate.
Shot for $22,000 in ten days by a young college student... Francis Coppola's first film.
