Film noir (film nwar) is a cinematic term used to describe the stylish Hollywood crime dramas of the 1940s to the late 1950s, particularly such that emphasize cynical attitudes and sexual impulses. Film noir of this era is associated with a low-key black-and-white visual style that has roots in German Expressionist cinematography. Many of the prototypical stories and much of the attitude of classic noir derive from the hard-boiled school of crime fiction that emerged in the United States during the Great Depression. Here you will enjoy specialty cocktails made from the finest ingredients including simple syrups, bitters, and mixers made in-house by our professional bartenders. Order a "Violet Femme", a delicious maceration of Queen Charlotte and March Violets in “Weinbrand” (distilled from grapes), with cane sugar for sweetness is our base, add gin, lemon juice and St. Germain for a glass of violet goodness. Or perhaps "A NOIR Ice Pick" made with Svedka vodka, muddled mint leaves, lemon, rosemary honey infused simple syrup and served with a sheel of lemon and a mint leaf.
Other drinks include "The Double Indemnity", "The Seahawk" and "Rosemary's Baby". We also have a variety wine and local bottled beer.
Our soups, salads, entrees, and desserts are aptly named after terms and endearments of the "noir era". Enjoy a "Mother-in-Law" or indulge in a "Stack of Wheats."

Bring in a dame or a cat, cut the blower, and for a double-sawbuck, you can have a smell from the barrel, stuff your trap, and hear a canary. Just leave the gat in the boiler! Oh, and no gaspers in the joint.
Enjoy the giggle juice!
